March Madness

KidsWithBasketballs

Hello March and welcome March Madness! Located in a college town, home of the South Florida Bulls, sports surrounds us. Ranging from well known football and basketball to minor sailing and tennis, there is always talk about sports games. For those of you who are not sports fans, March Madness is the month of the NCAA men and women’s basketball tournaments. This month leads to the NCAA championships in the beginning of April! Check out this fun and creative “March Madness” speech therapy game from the speech room news:

Lots of kids love sports, so here is a quick printable to go along with March Madness. You will use a super flexible basketball game to use with any age group. The game is played like basketball! First you write your learning targets/goals and objectives on the back of the basketballs. As your child completes the speech or language task, they earn their points. They will flip over the ball to see how many points they earned! Most balls are just regular 2 point field goals. They are trying to find those 3 pointers and slam dunks! Just print one scorecard for every game. An easy points reminder is included on the score card. Grab your copy here!

Christine Wilson will be cheering on her alma mater, the Central Missouri Mules, while Paige cheers on hers, the South Florida Bulls! Who will you be cheering for?
